Welcome to Clairemont
Affordable family-friendly community in a convenient location
Clairemont is an established family-friendly community nestled between Interstate 5 and Interstate 805 to the north of Downtown San Diego. Clairemont’s borders encompass the neighborhoods of Bay Park and Bay Ho along Interstate 5 to the west, while the eastern portion is subdivided into the neighborhoods of North Clairemont and Clairemont Mesa East and West.
Clairemont real estate is more affordable than many San Diego neighborhoods. As one of San Diego’s first planned suburban communities, Clairemont grew during the 1950s and ‘60s. Many of Clairemont’s single-family homes were constructed during this period and have been renovated in the decades since. Housing options in the community are diverse and include duplexes, apartments, and condominiums.
